Mikaela Shiffrin is officially the best slalom skier ever. The 24-year-old earned her 41st career World Cup victory this past weekend in Levi, Finland. She passed Swedish great Ingemar Stenmark who won 40 slalom events between 1974 and 1987.
It’s safe to say that Shiffrin is well on her way to surpassing Lindsey Vonn’s record of 82 wins and Stenmark’s record of 86 wins.
