17 year old New Zealand skier Alice Robinson was able to pull off a massive by beating out Mikaela Shiffrin by .06 seconds at the first World Cup event of the season held at Soelden, Austria.

This only her 11th career World Cup race and marks the first women’s World Cup giant slalom win by a skier from New Zealand. Robison is currently working with Lindsey Vonn’s former coaches Chris Knight and Jeff Fergus. Congratulations Alice!
