It looks like three-time Olympian Lindsey Vonn has now turned her focus on building a business after her retirement from skiing earlier this year.
In an interview with the Denver Post, Vonn expressed her excitement over the new venture.
“I didn’t know what to expect when I retired, but now I’m focusing all of my competitive energy and drive into starting my own business,” Vonn said.
The new company does not yet have a name, but at launch, it will consist of five beauty products plus perfume according to the Post article. In the interview, Vonn talked about how she views makeup as a female athlete.
“Just because you’re an athlete doesn’t mean you can’t be feminine,” Vonn said. “It doesn’t mean you can’t put your best foot forward. To me, putting on makeup is like putting on my game face. When I have my makeup on, I feel like I’m ready to attack the world, and anything is possible.”
