The workers who helped build Coronet Peak’s new Coronet Express Chair were honored Thursday during a test run on of the New Zealand ski resort’s “Most expensive bit of equipment.”

The project was finished in record time at a budget of $20,000,000 NZD ($13,000,000USD).  The six person chairlift has a capacity of 3,000 passengers an hour and was built in a effort continue the resort’s ongoing goal of being safe, being good and being a leader:
