As the end of the ski season approaches you might be looking for a spring destination to cash in on those last few scans on your Ikon Pass or Mountain Collective Pass and we’ve got the place for you. Consider the triad of spring skiing perfection that is SkiBig3. Between Lake Louise Ski Resort, Banff Sunshine Village and Mt Norquay there’s a tasty menu of end of season events that will keep you busy deep into May. Here’s what you need to know:

Here’s a small sampling of spring events to take advantage of during SkiBig3’s exceptionally long season: 
April 27th: SHAKE THE LAKE @ Lake Louise Ski ResortÂ
Time to get the sunscreen out and enjoy the classic spring skiing at Canada’s Natural Playground! This is your last chance to boogie before the snow melts. Apres ski on Kokanee Kabin deck, where you will hear some sweet tunes by Buffalo Child, Burchill & Troo Knot, while you sip on glacier fresh beer. This apres party is FREE, so come on down and enjoy the sun!
DRESS: Hawaiian/beach theme! Prizes will be given out for best dressed!
Pond Skimming – All ages
Feeling brave? Take a dip or ski across our pond in the base area!
Kokanee Kup
Anyone over the age of 18 can sign up on the day of to participate in this rail jam meets pond skim!
- 11:00am – 12:30pm: Sign Up at the Kokanee Kabin.
- 1:00pm: Kokanee Kup begins!
Bikinis for Breast Cancer
At 12:30pm, don’t miss the lovely ladies raising funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, as they ski and board down Easy Street in their bikini tops & snow pants for the annual Charity Event! Show your support for these brave ladies with cheers and high fives at the finish!
Shake the Lake After-Party
As the sun sets, return to the Lodge of Ten Peaks for an epic concert you won’t want to miss! Two live bands will rock the lodge… The Dudes with The Pistolwhips! Tickets are now on sale, for $25!

- Only 50 tickets will be available at the door for $30.
May 18-20th: 91st Annual Slush Cup @ Banff Sunshine Village
The Watergate Banked Slalom: Saturday, May 18, 10am – 4pm
You’ve seen the traditional banked slalom events pumping around Sunshine all year, so what can we put into the recipe to spice it up for our final weekend? You guessed it. Just add water. Come test your skills on the unique terrain course, with speed, skill and pond skimming a must for ambitious racers.
SlushShine Rail Jam: Sunday May 19, 9am – 4pm
What better way to enjoy the last weekend of the season than with one final rail jam? The SlushShine Rail Jam will see skiers and riders take on special features spread over water competing for awesome prizes!
Slush Cup 91: Monday 20, 8AM to 5PM
