Owen Lansbury was skiing with his friends at Gulmarg when he saw something moving in the snow. To his astonishment it was an endangered snow leopard. There are only around 3,000-6,000 snow leopards left on earth.
Snow leopards are the large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central and South Asia. They inhabit alpine and subalpine zones at elevations from 3,000 to 4,500 m (9,800 to 14,800 ft).
