If you had any items jacked in the Breckenridge area you’re going to want to read this. Breckenridge Police Department just nabbed a suspect in a string of ski/snowboard robberies after a month long investigation.

The Summit Daily reports Breck police executed a search warrant Tuesday morning on the 100 block of Atlantic Lode Road. Officers recovered a ton of equipment including 10 snowboards, 10 pairs of skis, six pairs of snowboard bindings, three helmets, 13 sets of goggles, eight pairs of gloves, a bag of ski skins and some poles. Police believe the thefts took place in the area of Peak 9 at Breckenridge Ski Resort.

The man who was taken into custody is 32 years old but police haven’t released his identity as the investigation is ongoing at this time. The man is in Summit County Jail, where he awaits court proceedings.
