With over 15 feet of snow in February and the month not even half way through, Mammoth Mountain has the deepest snowpack in the country (446 inches at summit) and just announced it will be spinning lifts until July 4th and possibly after that depending on how conditions hold up. Mammoth skiers, buy yourself a economy sized bucket of sunscreen, a bar of warm weather wax and get prepare to rip corn snow through Independence Day!
With the deepest snowpack in the country and most season snowfall to date (over 446” at the summit), we’re sending it straight to the 4th of July, or longer! pic.twitter.com/eV5OzrxvU9
