Squaw Valley’s legend, Rick Sylvester, sent it for the 1977 James Bond flick The Spy Who Loved Me. The Bond SkiBASE has gone down in movie history as a quintessential Bond moment.

Eon executive Charles Juroe said that at a screening attended by Charles, Prince of Wales, the ski BASE scene was electric. “I have never seen a reaction in the cinema as there was that night. You couldn’t help it. You could not help but stand up. Even Prince Charles stood up.”

Fun Fact: It was Roger Moore’s favorite Bond film.
