If you ski long enough, you’re gonna get injured. That’s just a fact of life. However, there are some things you can do to help prevent injuries this season. Dr. Catherine Logan is an orthopedic surgeon and member of the US Ski and Snowboard Physician Pool. She advises that you “know your body” and work on strengthening all aspects of it before hitting the slopes.

Dr. Logan also advises to be on guard even on gentle slopes.
