Eldora Mountain Ski Resort is set to open ahead of schedule for its earliest opening day in more than 20 years. The Patch reports they will fire up the six seater Alpenglow at 9am Wednesday, Nov. 7th:

“With more than three feet of natural snow since October 8 and consistently cold temperatures, we are very excited to be opening earlier than we had planned. Eldora is fortunate to be the first Colorado resort on the Ikon Pass to open, and one of the first resorts to be open in the country.” -Brent Tregaskis

There will not be any beginner terrain, lessons, or ski rentals until Friday, November 16, Eldora’s original opening date. Happy skiing!
