Colorado is off to a great start to the 2018/19 ski season. The states average snowpack sits at over 150% of average for November 4th.  Early season snowstorms have deposited snow on much of the rockies allowing for a number of ski areas to open for the season.

The NRCS Snow Survey Program provides mountain snowpack data and streamflow forecasts for the western United States.
Copper and  Breckenridge are both at 186% of their average snowpack for early November. Arapahoe Basin and Loveland Ski Area, which are both Open, are at a very impressive 236% of their historic snow water equivalent.
