Just a regular day for residents of Evergreen, Colorado during rut season. This little horn locking session went down on Sunday on Highway 73 near the fire station. Amazing to see from the safety of a caar but just a friendly reminder to give elk plenty of room during the rut or you risk serious injury as the males duke it out to win the hearts of females.  Be careful!
