How refreshing it is in the era of corporate ski area takeovers to see owners who were concerned that their operation be passed onto new owners that shared their values:

“In the end analysis, Joe and Kyle, a couple working together in the industry and a good feel for what it takes for a community local ski area to be vibrant, it was our thought that they were by far the best fit.”

Kevin and Nyla Taylor have owned and operated the Mount Belmont ski hill since 1985 but Kevin has recently had a decline in eyesight which has made operating the resort increasingly difficult.  The transfer of ownership is scheduled for April 1st 2019. Happy retirement to the Taylors!
