- Colder than normal across the majority of Canada
- Ample snowfall will deliver great snow conditions throughout the season
The Old Farmer’s Almanac just dropped its 2019 winter weather outlook for Canada and big surprise– the land of cold and snow will stay true to its nickname.
With an El Niño trend predicted and a “decrease in solar activity,” the forecasters at the OFA are saying that the majority of Canada will see colder-than-normal temps, especially away from the coasts.
The entire country will also see above average snowfall. Our bets for powder center on the Banff, SkiBig3 complex as well as resorts in interior British Columbia. Might be a good time to book your trip on the Powder Highway…
