The North American ski season is NOT OVER! Three ski areas will be open for skiing and riding this weekend.
Beartooth Basin, WY: June 4th – July 8th
Beartooth Basin, America’s sole summer-only ski area, kicked off their ski season on Monday. Their opening was delayed due to too much snow!
Mammoth Mountain, CA: June 17th
Mammoth Mountain, California is offering up Top-to-bottom skiing/snowboarding out of the Main Lodge through at least June 17; no beginner terrain available.
Timberline Lodge, OR: August 31st
Timberline Lodge will be the last remaining ski area open in North America. For summer the ski area is scheduled to operate 7 days a week, weather permitting. Magic Mile and Palmer are for intermediate to advanced skiers/riders only.
