Engelberg, Switzerland is having a ski season for the history books.  The ski areas is enjoying one of the deepest bases in the world with more than 25 feet reported. The ski area picked up another 5 feet of snowfall in the past 7 days!

As Inthesnow.com points out “It’s unusual for snow depths to keep building in to April as usually levels pea in early March before the Spring thaw starts to slowly reduce them.  But this winter has been exceptional.”

So if you’re looking for a last minute spring getaway you might want to hit up Engelberg.
