Shocking footage out of Thaiwoo Ski Resort in northern China as a 7 year old skier fell 65 feet to flat after dangling from the bottom of chairlift. The Mirror reports an unnamed spokesman for the Chongli Ski Tourism Center, which manages trips to the Thaiwoo Resort, confirmed the boy was unharmed despite the high fall:
“The snow was thick, he shook it off and then went skiing again. His parents weren’t around. They were irresponsible and the ski lift operator didn’t spot the child either.”
Sources on this story are sketchy at best but the footage speaks for itself, thankfully the kid is okay. If you are skiing with kids you need to drill mountain safety and its okay if they don’t like it. Keep a close eye on your kids and stay safe out there.
