Since the middle of November, Niseko United is reporting a monstrous 256″ at its higher elevations. That’s over 21 FEET this season alone!

Needless to say, Japan is atop the powder pile with Europe close behind. Today, snow will be tapering off on Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido but as is normal in Japan, ‘sea effect’ pretty much renders snow forecasts useless.
