The southern French alps and the Aosta valley in Italy are absolutely blanketed in snow and Ski Pelvoux is reporting a whopping 270cm on new snow reports WePowder.com.

Other resorts including Serre Chevalier, Courmayeur, La Thuile, and Alpe d’Huez are all reporting significant snowfalls. As of today, avalanche centers across the alps are warning backcountry skiers to exercise extreme caution until the new snow has a chance to bond.
