Millenial skiers in Colorado are growing while others states struggle to attract young adults to the sport according to a newly published report by the National Ski Areas Association.

The study shows that while other states have seen a sharp dropoff in millenial attendance since 1997-1998, the 20-something population of Colorado skiers and riders continues to grow. That’s largely thanks to the individual resorts catering specific events to this particular age group.
Whether that includes Winter Wondergrass in places like Steamboat or Telluride Blues and Brews, the ski resorts are adapting to the bespoke party atmosphere of which these millenials are accustomed to experiencing. At least that’s what we took away from the 9News Denver article.
