Central Colorado is under a winter storm warning right now with Vail and Beaver Creek in the center of it all.

Copper Mountain, Loveland, and Arapahoe Basin are also seeing accumulation build up on their slopes and Thanksgiving is starting to look good for the higher elevation ski resorts in Colorado.

  • 6-12″ for Vail, Beaver Creek
  • 4″ for Loveland Pass
  • 3″ for Crested Butte + Breck

* TIMING…OCCASIONAL SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW SHOWERS ENDING BY EARLY THIS EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION…ADDITIONAL 2 TO 4 INCHES WITH STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL RANGING FROM 6 TO 12 INCHES.

* WINDS…WEST 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* IMPACTS…SNOWFALL AND AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS INCLUDING INTERSTATE 70 OVER VAIL PASS.
