Everyone has a little section of their home mountain they would love to have just a couple trees chopped down to allow for a little extra room for activities. Well, if your job title is Snow Surfaces and Trail Manager like Brian Amundon at Tamarack Resort in Idaho, you can make your dreams a reality and get paid while you do it!

Really enjoy the pacing of his decisions, scope it out the area for a few years to get a feel for what goes where, and then slowly open it up during the course of a few seasons.  You can’t uncut a tree, so you better be damn sure before you commit.
