While people wonder what’s going on with Saddleback ski area in Maine, a group is starting to research the possibility of bringing the ski area back to life via a co-op format.

According to WGME, skiers and families have voiced their interest in buying shares of the ski hill near Rangley, Maine. In exchange for their investment, co-op participants would be in charge of the resort’s overall direction as well as be awarded season passes and other benefits.
