The valuable information provided by Utah’s network of over 200 Snowtel Stations is used by hydrologists and recreational skiers and river enthusiasts alike to forecast conditions by examining snowpack data.

Stream flow predictions as well as ski conditions can be gleamed from the realtime data flow provided by the meteorological stations if you have some basic knowhow to examine the information.
