NEW WORLD RECORD: Snowboarder Highest Air On A Hip Jump (37 Feet Above Coping)

By

Suzuki Nine Knights built one of the biggest hip jumps in the history of park features (5 stories high hip) and it provided a platform for record breaking airs. Congratulations to Swiss snowboarder Christian “Hitsch” Haller for a new world record for the highest air on a hip jump, reaching a full 11.3m (37 feet) over the coping. Here is what he had to say about the feat:

“The conditions were ideal and I felt safe and comfortable, that is what lead me to go as big as I could,” he said, “the record thing is something cool, but for me it was personal and was all about progressing.”
