Very curious about this new piece of tech that was creating quite a buzz around this year’s SIA.  The YodelUP is a FitBit style wrist worn device that is bulletproof as far as waterproofness and shock resistance, but most importantly interfaces with big knobby buttons that have a “snappiness” to them.  This is key to seemless gloves-on manipulation and something that most wearables disregard. Can’t speak to the tech intergrated into these little guys but the idea of having wristwatch style face with oversized, grippy or snappy buttons is quite interesting. Their kickstarter campaign hasn’t even kicked off but you can get in extra early HERE.

“YodelUP comes in three colours, Thermal Green, Tiger Orange and Fresh Blue, with an ergonomic design that securely fits to any winter glove. YodelUP’s large snappy buttons are designed for intuitive ‘no look’ control. Instantly communicate with a friend or a group of friends by pressing the Push-to-talk (a.k.a YODEL) button – just like a Walkie-talkie.It’s simple; connect Yodel to your phone and take your experience on the slopes to the next level!”

…also brilliant use of yodel to name your mountain communication device. I would buy they person who named it a pitcher.
