In an interview with The Denver Post Mickaela Shiffrin said she plans on returning to competition in Soldeu, Andorra February 27-28.  She injured herself during a practice run for a World Cup race in Are, Sweden, suffering a partially torn MCL, bone bruising and a hairline fracture on December 12th but says she had no pain or swelling in her knee and is hopeful to finish out he season after her first day back on skis.  If everything goes to plan Mickaela plans to finish out the season in March at a competition in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Best wishes to Mickaela on her recovery and return to racing!
