This frightening footage comes to us from the Aconcagua region of Argentina.  A few more seconds in that gully and this might have been tragic. The person who published the video had this to say about the exact location,“Avalanche en route linking Horcones ( park entrance ) and Confluence ( first base of the Aconcagua field).”

Aconcagua is the highest mountain outside of Asia, at 22,841 feet, and by extension the highest point in both the Western Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere.
