Never too young to start learning how to play it safe in the hills.  This is a very cool program where Selkirk Outdoor Leadership and Education and The Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center team up to provide a SnowSchool for the students of Clark Fork Junior High School. If you live in a mountain town and would like to see a similar program for you kids maybe share this around with the other parents and get a little groundswell going. Chaperoning this kind of field trip might actually be fun.
