Physical altercations should never be happening on the ski mountain, but sadly some people think the world revolves around them. These guys, certainly trying to capture some “prank” content for social media, managed to spark a small fight through their stupid antics.
Their “prank” involved playing poker on a dance floor in the park, blocking it so nobody else could use the feature. The crowd above them was understandably pretty upset while waiting to use the feature, and somebody decided to take it into their own hands. While nobody appeared to be actually injured, a punch was thrown.
Both sides in this altercation are pretty clearly in the wrong. The original guys shouldn’t have been trying to get clout by ruining other people’s day, but there was no need for violence either. If they really wanted the guys to move on, they should have just called ski patrol or the park crew.
The video appears to be taken in the park at Keystone Resort, under the Peru Express and A51 chairlifts. If you’re going to ride in the park, keep your Park SMART guidelines in mind to keep yourself and others safe:
START SMALL — Work your way up. Build your skills.
MAKE A PLAN — Every feature. Every time.
ALWAYS LOOK — Before you drop.
RESPECT — The features and other users.
TAKE IT EASY — Know your limits. Land on your feet.
