How bad was the 2014-2015 ski season in the west? Really bad. This map shows just what a lousy season it was for just about ever ski resort in the west. That is not to say that there were good if not great days of skiing is winter, just that the snow never had a chance to built up.

As you can see on the map, Tahoe is currently at 0% of average for snowpack. Only parts of Colorado have a above average snowpack for this time of the year.
