Phase 1: is the lit area in this photo with Aquatic Center (Grand Camp) and Ice Rink right behind it.

These images from moonshine ink shed some light onto KSL’s plans for the future development of Squaw Valley. If things go to plan for KSL the village will be built out in three phases.

  • Phase 1 (depicted in the image above) would take 5 years to complete.
  • Phase 2 & 3 will be built out based on the success of Phase 1 and is estimated to take 10 years to complete.

The lit area in this photo shows the current village. Everything else would be new. photo: moonshine ink

The illuminated buildings represent the current Village at Squaw.

If built the village would include:

  • Grand Camp a 132,000-square foot building with indoor aquatic center and indoor play structures.
  • A Ice Rink near the Funitel at the base of the mountain.
  • A walkway to Squaw Creek at a cost of $1.5 million
  • 1,000 residential units.
