Josh Sundquist definitely deserves some credit for this costume idea. While most of us scramble last minute to get something worthy of arguably one of the best holidays ever, Sundquist nailed the leg lamp from “The Christmas Story”.

Sundquist competed for the USA in the 2006 Paralympics in Torino, Italy and was also named to the US Paralympic Soccer team, the only athlete in history to ever do so.

From Josh Sundquist’s Website:

“Josh’s journey began at age nine, when he was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer and given a fifty percent chance to live. He spent a year on chemotherapy treatments and his left leg was amputated. Doctors declared Josh cured of the disease at age thirteen and he took up ski racing three years later.”

Some of Josh’s other top hits include a half eaten gingerbread man and a peg legged pirate.
