Spring has been pleasantly forgiving in Jackson. Warm temps, few snow storms- it has been amazing. Hell, it’s supposed to be close to 80F today in the valley. But don’t put those down jackets away just yet- it looks as though winter is going to have at least one last gasp. Snow-forecast.com (complain as you may about their accuracy) is forecasting nearly a foot of snow for the top of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. What’s more is that the Jackson Hole Tram re-opens on Saturday. Who’s up for a little Memorial Day powder shredding!?

It is important to note that while skis and snowboards are allowed on the tram, skiing in-bounds is verboten. As good as Tower 3 and Corbet’s might look, it’s probably not worth losing your pass for next year. Anybody choosing to ride must exit the ski area boundaries first. Might be a bit of a bushwhack out the bottom this year, so we recommend hiking back up and taking the tram down.
