Alaska had an incredible year. They got 1000 inches of snow during the fall and winter and then it stopped. It hasn’t really snowed in AK since the first week of March. It’s essentially been sunny every single day since. That just doesn’t happen in Alaska, but it happened this year.
The perpetual blue skies made for stable snow, perfect flying weather, great visibility, stupendous skiing, and stellar filming.
