Chimney OPEN says the sign today
KT-22 easy fingers were good today

Patrol had the Chimney open today.  It wasn’t a Chimney day, but kinda neat and scary that it was open.  I think it’s a good sign.  Patrol is getting more comfortable with opening up the Chimney.

Squaw got up to 54F at the base and 48F at High Camp.  A moderate breeze kept things feeling cool all day up top.  Down on KT, it was pretty much just hot, but the skiing stayed great.

Olympic Lady was skiing great and the Oly Lady slopestyle jumps were seeing lots of backflips and 360s.  Chute 75 was smooth, soft, and sultry…until you got half way down and it just turned into a waffle iron.  Staying right got you around that and kept things smoothish.

The forecast if for 2-3 feet of snow in by Saturday and a temperature of -1F on Friday night.

Chimney OPEN says the sign today

The terrain park did soften up on Gold Coast, but the wind was strong “side-shore” at the Riviera park and that kept people out.

The skiing was great all over today and it turned out to be a perfect California spring skiing day.
