Silverado makes you feel like your in the mountains. Â The rest of Squaw is cool, but Silvy is the real deal. Â That terrain back there is raw. Â Thank you Squaw Valley for opening Silverado today.
Silvy was GOOD today. Â The 1″ of snow we got last night blew in just under the ridge and made the top half of the run soft, silent, and fast. Â Half way down it turned to slush and was still fun. Â Avy debris chunder was everywhere, but it was easy to spot and easy to avoid.
I didn’t ski anywhere else today.  Silverado was so fun and different and new feeling that I couldn’t tear myself away. Â
