In this informative video, Andrew McLean takes you through the proposed Talisker SkiLink between Solitude and The Canyons. The proposed development would remove 30 acres (1.5 miles by 165 feet) from public use. Essentially, it would create a private land swath through backcountry terrain. It’s a hot issue in itself, but also raises bigger questions about ski areas developing cherished backcountry terrain. What are your guys’ thoughts?
