A ski instructor and his/her 3 child-students fell from a chairlift at Big Sky, MT at 1pm on Saturday.  The fall happened on Big Sky’s Ramcharger high speed detachable quad chairlift.  All 4 were hospitalized, treated, and released from Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.  Details of their injuries are not public.

Investigators are looking into the incident and attempting to determine the cause of the fall.  The chairlift they fell from does have a safety bar.

The lift they fell from is reported to have no mechanical problems that could have contributed to the accident.
