Southwest U.S.

February 2012
8th-11th. Drier, but noticeably colder.
12th-15th. Showery, windy.
16th-19th. Fair at first, then stormy.
20th-23rd. Mostly fair weather returns.
24th-29th. Milder, then some rain, or (over higher terrain) snow, then clearing, colder conditions.

March 2012
1st-3rd. Stormy conditions. Squally California.
4th-7th. Fair skies.
8th-11th. Fair at first, then windy, wet.
12th-15th. Fair, until a major Pacific storm system moves in.
16th-19th. Fair weather returns.
20th-23rd. Fair, then unsettled.
24th-27th. Clearing skies.
28th-31st. Once again, stormy weather spreads east from the Pacific.

April 2012
1st-3rd. Fair, quite cool.
4th-7th. Fair at first, then scattered showers.

 

North Central U.S.

February 2012
8th-11th. Drier, much colder.
12th-15th. Flurries Northern, Central Plains east. Frigid! Approaching 30 below in parts of Montana, North Dakota.
16th-19th. Fair, then stormy Northern Rockies through Dakotas, Nebraska east.
20th-23rd. Mostly fair.
24th-29th. Milder, then some snow Northern, Central Rockies, Plains, then fair, colder.

March 2012
1st-3rd. Wet Northern, Central Plains.
4th-7th. Stormy across Kansas, Nebraska, Dakotas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, then fair weather.
8th-11th. Fair initially, then unsettled.
12th-15th. Fair, windy.
16th-19th. Stormy weather spreads east across Northern, Central Plains.
20th-23rd. Mostly fair yet cold. Turning unsettled Northern, Central Rockies by the 23rd.
24th-27th. Light rain Montana, Wyoming, Colorado. Windy, showery elsewhere. Then clearing.
28th-31st. Stormy weather spreads in from west; heavy thunderstorms Kansas.

April 2012
1st-3rd. Fair and cold.
4th-7th. Dry weather gives way to showery conditions across Northern and Central Rockies, Plains.

 

Northwest U.S.

February 2012
8th-11th. Drier, but colder.
12th-15th. Gusty winds accompany scattered showers.
16th-19th. Fair initially, turning very unsettled.
20th-23rd. Mostly fair.
24th-29th. Milder, with some rain showers; some snow higher elevations.

March 2012
1st-3rd. Very unsettled.
4th-7th. Fair skies return.
8th-11th. Fair at first, then unsettled.
12th-15th. Fair, with gusty winds. A major storm moves inland from Pacific.
16th-19th. Stormy at first, then fair weather returns.
20th-23rd. Mostly fair, chilly, turning unsettled by 23rd.
24th-27th. Showery, then fair and chilly.
28th-31st. Stormy weather again spreads in from the Pacific.

April 2012
1st-3rd. Fair and chilly.
4th-7th. Fair weather becomes unsettled, showery.

 

Northeast U.S.

February 2012
8th-11th. Wet snow mixed with rain Mid-Atlantic north through New England; slushy accumulations of 4+” possible.
12th-15th. Light snow, then fair skies.
16th-19th. Unsettled.
20th-23rd. Heavy wet snow sweeps up through Mid-Atlantic across the rest of Northeast, 12+” possible; then fair, cold.
24th-29th. Spotty light snow/flurries; could turn steadier, heavier over eastern New England.

March 2012
1st-3rd. Light snow/flurries. Steadier, heavier snows along New England coast.
4th-7th. Stormy, with significant snow accumulations possible Mid-Atlantic region, then clearing.
8th-11th. Fair.
12th-15th. Light rain, especially Pennsylvania, New York, then fair.
16th-19th. Showers, heavy thunderstorms. Break out green umbrellas for St. Patrick’s Day Parade in N.Y.C.
20th-23rd. Fair, pleasant.
24th-27th. Showery, windy, then fair.
28th-31st. Increasing clouds. Unsettled by the 31st.

April 2012
1st-3rd. Squally, then fair, cold.
4th-7th. Pleasant spring weather.

 

British Columbia

February 2012
