Daron Rahlves’ Banzai Tour was a hit last season in Tahoe and it’s about to start again. The first stop of the year will be at Kirkwood, CA on February 11-12.
The venue has been changed from last year due to snow conditions but still sounds to be rowdy and fast.

Kirkwood just confirmed we are on for Feb 11-12, 2012 on a new venue for The Rahlves’ Banzai Tour.
After a snow/venue check there yesterday Feb 1st, it was apparent that we couldn’t run the Eagle Bowl venue due to low tide conditions.
After a few different options I liked what I saw off lower Wall skiers left of Chair 10 into Snow Snake Gully. I worked with Ski Patrol and Event Marketing laying out the track and dialing in the flow. We set a few bamboo to lay down a line. With two runs it got more and more fun and I wish I had the rest of the day to ski it. This is going to be a sweet track. (Should be up by tonight…if not look on Daron Rahlves FB or later on www.rahlvesbanzai.com) Note that our competition window from 11am-3pm has sun down the gully and will look awesome four at a time.
