Cold, Warm, Rain, Snow, Repeat…Pretty much sums up January at Stowe, which is a good thing as far as I can tell.

DON’T BE FOOLED…. by the Brown you see in Burlington and Boston because when the snow is falling, its been falling hard.  3″ in 3 hours during the mid day hours on Sunday. Rain, Friday??  Don’t know what you are talking about.

6 – 9″ overnight and Monday was full on pow day!  Granted, still hard underneath but nothing an East Coast Skier can’t handle.

Continuous snow all day today = more fresh lines.  Checked the snow stake up high.  Happy to report that the 4′ mark was just barely visible (probably buried by now) which is on the high side of the five year average.  Mountain is good to go and the shots above Bypass were sweet!!

Remember 2″ to 6″ a day, everyday adds up to 18″ and counting!!
