Finally, a bluebird day! Today was the first time in awhile where we could see all the way into the high peaks of the Japanese Alps.

Although we could see all the peaks today, the wind prevented us from actually reaching them. It appears that yesterday’s storm was followed by some very heavy winds.

Despite the heavy winds, there was still excellent snow to be found on loaded aspects. Colder temps also helped to keep the snow light and dry.

Overall, great turns, wind burnt faces, and good views were today’s offerings.
