Yesterday was day one of the Deep Winter Photo Challenge at Whistler Blackcomb and the conditions, compared to previous years, called for creative photography. With non Deep Winter-esque weather the competitors have to think outside the box with their shots. Because of warm temps on Monday then and overnight freezing on Tuesday much of the lower mountain can’t be used. The teams are forced into the alpine for good snow often crossing paths and shooting in the same zone. Stay tuned to see how it all plays out.
