It is finally time to break out your skins and get back up the the hill to ski again! With snow forecast for this week mouths are watering all over the Wasatch with the thought of getting back out on the hill and shredding some pow. There are almost always a couple good storms in October and this year looks like it is going to get kicked off on Wednesday into Thursday. Thanks God!!!!Â
Does anyone else like the sounds of 9-13″? That is enough to go get your slide on if you know where the grassy slopes are. Quick, drive up the canyon and find them before they look just like the rocky spots. I have gotten some of my deepest turns of the year during October some seasons. There is something about the lack of base that just makes it that much more fun too! Plan to skip work Thursday and go skiing for the kick off of the 2011/12 season. Â Or maybe all this hype will make it so nothing happens…
