The last free Commons Beach concert of the summer series is set to go off today at 3 pm. The grand finale show will feature the California soul music of the Mother Hips, along with help from one of their favorite collaborators, Niki Bluhm. Local party band The Beer Gardeners will also be playing in support.
Commons Beach is a local North Shore favorite, home to the seasonal farmers markets, the free summer concert series , and a host of other community supported events. If you haven’t already decided on something fun to do this Sunday, head down to Commons. If you plan on boating, no worries, there’s always more than a few boats anchored a little ways offshore enjoying the music from the water.
