They’re out there. Your best best is either eBay or Reno Craigslist. The cheapest ticket on eBay is about $430 right now ($110 above face value). Just be aware that counterfeit tickets have been going around, and several Tahoe locals have been burnt buying fake tickets in the past few weeks. It seems oxymoronic, but be weary of who you deal with before throwing down on an inflated ticket. That’s really not the Burning Man way, everyone you deal with is supposed to be cool, but with the sell-out perhaps the times have changed. These counterfeit tickets look so  identical to the real ones it’s almost scary.

You might have better luck on Reno Craiglist than eBay. If anything, that page will keep you entertained with people ranting about about all things pertaining to Burning Man. There are posts on there with what seems to be legit people selling tickts for face value, the many scalpers trying to get whatever inflated cost they can for tickets, people looking for rides to Burning Man, selling costumes, looking for dates, looking for drugs, looking for advice, etc.  There’s no less than a thousand posts up right now, so if you’re bored at work, there’s some instant entertainment right there.
