After all the “it is open, wait no it is closed” controversy about the LCC downhill trail in Salk Lake’s best canyon the trail seems to be officially good to go. All the silly little signs that the US Forest service had been posting all over the trail have disappeared and the barriers that were put in are all gone.

The section from China Wall to Tanners is still wrecked, filled with cut down trees (Thanks Forest Service), so  you have to drop in at Tanners or ride the road from White Pine to Tanners if you are dropping in from higher. We started at the Heli Pad on the bypass just to try it out. The part of the trail from the Heli Pad to Gad Valley was sub par and I will not be riding it again. Give it a try for yourself and tell me what you think. Ride on!
