That is right.  There is surfing in Wyoming.  All you California folk think you are so special with your mountains and oceans together in the same state.   I am thinking, the drive from downtown Jackson to Lunch Counter takes quite a bit less time than the drive from Tahoe to the nearest beach break.  Sure, it is only one standing wave and you get worked through a rapid every ride, but people are friendly and the rides last as long as you can stay on.  Not too bad a complement to accompany our superior mountain.

Anyway, The surf season started today in Jackson and there is still plenty of water/snow left to release into the Snake.  Let us hope everything works out for a nice long season.  Just be careful of the raft guides.  There are some out there for blood.
